The Intuitive Engineer: The Power of Intuition in Decision Making
Hi there! My name is Elise The Left Brain Intuitive and for 20 years I was an Intuitive Engineer.
I worked as software engineer by day while secretly giving intuitive readings to strangers at night. And I’ve learned a thing or two about balancing the logical and intuitive sides of myself.
Intuition is often thought of as something mystical or supernatural but it’s simply subconscious information.
It’s not magic, it’s not weird, and it’s not something that only a select few are born with. In fact, I believe that everyone has the ability to tap into their intuition.
When I give an intuitive reading, I start by asking my intuition: “what does this person most need to hear?”
This question serves as a guiding principle for me as I dive into the ocean of data that is stored in their body as subconscious information. There’s so much information in there – not just about what’s currently in their consciousness, but also about events and experiences from their past.
But here’s the thing – you don’t need to know how to access this information. Your body already knows how to do it. All you need to do is ask for what you want. This is the power of the question “what do you most need to hear?” – it tells your system what information to retrieve.
As someone who spent two decades in the world of software engineering, I can’t help but see the similarities between data lakes and intuitive information.
In software engineering, a data lake is a vast repository of raw data that has yet to be processed or analyzed. Similarly, your body contains an abundance of raw information that can be accessed through intuition.
But just like in data science, the key is to find and retrieve the information that is relevant to your question or goal. This is where intuition comes in.
By tapping into your intuition, you can access the data that is most important to you at any given moment.
And here’s another thing – intuition isn’t just about receiving information. It’s also about trusting that information.
When I give an intuitive reading, my clients often experience a moment of surprise when I tell them something that they didn’t think I could possibly know. But that surprise quickly gives way to a sense of trust in the information that I’m providing.
Why? Because the information comes from a source that is not tainted or distorted by the logical mind.
It comes from the raw data that is stored in their body. Intuition is a powerful tool for personal growth and transformation. When we trust the information that our intuition provides us, we can make better decisions and live more fulfilling lives.
So how can you tap into your intuition? Here are a few tips:
- Quiet your mind. Intuition often speaks to us in quiet whispers, so it’s important to create space for those whispers to be heard. Meditation, deep breathing, and spending time in nature are all great ways to quiet your mind and connect with your intuition.
- Ask for what you want. Remember that your body already knows how to access the information that you need. By asking for what you want, you’re telling your system what information to retrieve.
- Practice, practice, practice. Intuition is like a muscle – the more you use it, the stronger it becomes. Start small by trusting your gut instincts in everyday situations, and gradually build up to more complex decisions.
Remember that intuition is simply subconscious information that is stored in your body and can be accessed by asking a question and NOT listening to your Logical Mind..
I believe that everyone has the ability to tap into their intuition and use it as a tool for personal growth and transformation. So go ahead, ask!
