Left Brain Intuition: Understanding the Logical Mind + Intuitive Mind
Have you ever wondered if you’re intuitive?
A gut feeling, a sudden surge of emotions or a vivid scenes that flash through your mind?
Welcome to the world of Left Brain Intuition, a concept that explores the dynamic interplay between our logical and intuitive minds.
I’m Elise Lebeau, M.Sc. also known as the Left Brain Intuitive and I want to share with you the transformative potential of embracing your intuition.
The Two Complimentary Decision Making Systems
Our decision-making processes are fueled by two complementary systems: the Logical Mind and the Intuitive Mind. The Logical Mind operates based on conscious information, utilizing language and a step-by-step approach to achieve goals. It resides predominantly in the left hemisphere of the brain, specifically in the Area of Broca, which is closely associated with language processing.
In contrast, the Intuitive Mind operates on subconscious information. It communicates in a language-free manner, ensuring a harmonious coexistence with the Logical Mind to prevent collisions. If both minds were solely language-based, distinguishing between their inputs would be impossible. These collisions often manifest as confusion or uncertainty.
How Intuition Communicates with You
To avoid collisions, our Intuitive Mind establishes a separate channel of communication, reaching out to us through emotions, physical sensations, scenes, and random ideas. By tuning into this intuitive compass, we can gain profound insights and guidance for our lives.
Emotions serve as a primary means of intuitive communication. They act as indicators, highlighting situations that require our attention.
Physical sensations, such as a churning stomach, offer additional cues from our intuition.
Scenes and imagery that spontaneously arise in our minds can provide powerful symbolic messages.
Random ideas that pop into our heads when we’re least expecting them also hold valuable intuitive insights.
Recognizing and Nurturing Your Intuition
If you’ve experienced any of these intuitive signals, such as emotions, sensations, scenes, or random ideas, congratulations! You possess a strong intuition.
However, it’s crucial not to suppress or ignore these signals. Suppressing emotions, for instance, can hinder our ability to tap into intuitive insights. Instead, we must acknowledge and explore them to unveil the messages they carry.
Three Challenges to Embracing Intuition
There are three primary challenges that impede our ability to fully embrace our intuition: suppressing, ignoring, and misunderstanding our intuitive hints.
When we suppress or ignore intuitive insights, we miss out on valuable opportunities for personal growth and decision-making. Additionally, misunderstanding our intuition due to distortion can lead to misinterpretation and confusion.
The Three Big Wins of Intuition
Embracing our intuition brings forth three significant intuitive advantages in our lives:
- Clarity: By tapping into our intuition, we gain profound clarity about the underlying issues we face. It enables us to understand why we are truly stuck, surpassing the stories created by our Logical Mind. The relief that accompanies this newfound clarity is immensely gratifying.
- Access to Hidden Opportunities: Intuition unveils opportunities that may remain hidden to our logical minds. While the logical approach tends to follow a linear path, intuition is exponential, surprising us with unexpected breakthroughs and unforeseen paths to success.
- Express Lane to Our Goals: Combining our Logical Mind with intuition allows us to navigate the express lane to success. Intuition draws upon the vast realm of subconscious information, exponentially stacking the odds in our favor.
By incorporating intuitive insights into our logical decision-making, we can defy the odds and achieve extraordinary results.
Embracing Intuition: Defying the Odds
My personal journey exemplifies the transformative power of intuition.
As a single mother without financial support, an immigrant facing the language barrier and a crippling struggle with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, I defied the odds by achieving my financial freedom at 49 (while being unemployed!) with my top 4 life-changing intuitive decisions.
No financial coach could have predicted or planned for such an outcome. But by embracing and relying on my intuition, I surpassed even my own expectations and achieved what seemed impossible.
