Intuitive Message: Struggling with a symptom that won’t heal?
Hi, my name is Elise, I’m the Left Brain Intuitive and I’m wondering if this message is for you.
Today’s message is for a woman who is struggling with a symptom that won’t heal. I feel that you’ve been stuck there for a while trying to get better and you are stuck and that is why This message is coming for you today to give you clarity so you can move forward and not be stuck anymore.
So, there’s two kinds of symptoms that refuse to heal. And I’m not talking about like aging, you know, so, so if you get wrinkles, that’s not a symptom. That’s just the natural evolution of nature, but I’m talking about something that should heal, you know, you should be better by now and you’re not, and your doctor has given up.
You’ve seen some specialists, maybe they don’t know really what’s wrong with you. This is when people come see me usually because they tried everything else. I’m like the Hail Mary of a healing journey.
There’s two kinds of symptoms that don’t heal. The first one is you haven’t found the root cause of the problem yet.
And by that, I mean that a symptom that doesn’t heal can have something that’s stuck in your energy, in your hard drive, which is what I call your physical body, where all information about you is stored. Sometimes something gets stuck there, and the symptom won’t heal. What’s a good example of that?
Oh, so I had a client who had pain in her lower back and it would not heal. And she had gone to therapies and this is like, like 15 years, she had been struggling with this for 15 years. And it turns out that she had a long time ago developed this symptom while she was struggling with a difficult marriage. She was very angry at her husband.
And it had expressed itself in her lower back because she was carrying a burden.
And that’s how the body spoke with this analogy or this metaphor of carrying a burden on your back. And she developed a pain at that time where she was struggling with the problem.
Now the thing is, she had solved the problem. And she eventually got divorced from that person but the pain remained. The reason the pain remained is because she was still angry. Somewhere on her hard drive, something was stuck and the body kept expressing, I’m still angry.
And once she realized that this was the problem through an intuitive reading, she was able to go back and find closure. And she found a way to release the anger and the pain in her back went away. Isn’t that amazing? So these kinds of symptoms that won’t heal can be caused by the root cause still being in your energy .
The second kind of symptom that won’t heal is a functional symptom, one that remains because you’re still doing, thinking, or saying something that maintains the problem. It serves a purpose.
It’s like a wound, there’s a scab on it, and you scratch the scab and it bleeds again.
So as long as you scratch the scab, it won’t heal.
That’s different here because the problem here is that you have to change something. You have to stop scratching this scab, right? But once again, this is where intuition is so helpful because, you know, what is the function that this symptom is fulfilling?
It’s not obvious to the logical mind. The logical mind doesn’t know because that’s stored on your hard drive, your body, and only your intuition has access to that. Because your intuition deals in subconscious information. That’s that’s its pool of information. That’s where it comes from. Okay, so you have a functional symptom, meaning there’s something that you do frequently
not necessarily. That maintains the symptom that you’re having that won’t go away. And it should heal, but it doesn’t.
Okay, so let me be more specific. So the description of the problem did apply to a lot of different people. However, there is one particular person in my audience who has this problem, and I’m gonna complete the reading for her, because she’s the one who instigated this message. Okay. So, in your case, it is a pain, right?
It is a physical pain. It feels like something is always sore.
So, it’s not like a stabbing pain. It’s not like an electrical shock., it’s always sore and you feel it more. Sometimes it’s way more sore. You have to ice it. Maybe you take something. I don’t see what you take, but something innocuous.
Maybe you take ibuprofen for that. And then you keep on going.
You keep on going and the soreness gets better the next day, but I feel like you live with that constantly. And I feel also importantly that it has limited your ability to do certain things. And this is part of the function that this symptom has.
When I tune into your energy about this, what I’m seeing is that you had an event, a triggering event in your past where you did something that really scared you. Not as in life threatening, but more as in you felt, Oh, I almost made a really bad decision.
Yes, I almost made a really bad decision and the pain developed around that time. And what the body is doing here is trying to limit the things that you do to protect you from a bad decision. Functional symptoms, they don’t make sense until we understand what they’re trying to do. And in my experience, they’re always trying to protect us from something.
That’s how nature is built, right? To protect life. And it will, sometimes in ways that don’t make sense to our logical mind. But once we start tuning in with our intuition, we can get to that information and we go, Oh, that’s why. So although you don’t notice it right now, you get sore in that area of your body when you are afraid you’re about to make a bad decision.
That’s when you get sore. Oh, I wonder if you attributed this to all kinds of different weird activities that have nothing to do with the fundamental problem. So the root cause here is that you’re about to make a decision, You’re doubting yourself, you’re drowning in self-doubt, and then it gets sore that’s when it happens. So if you’re trying to solve the soreness problem, you’re barking up the wrong tree.
The problem you need to solve is why am I so scared to make a bad decision? That’s the root cause of this functional symptom.
The symptom is just telling you, you are afraid. That’s what the symptom is saying. So that you have a chance to go and look at that fear and ask: Why? Why am I afraid? And in this case, you’re afraid of making a bad decision. Now this information is conscious now. As soon as you ask: why is my back sore?
Okay. Because I’m afraid. I’m afraid. Why am I afraid? I’m afraid to make a bad decision. Okay, so what’s the decision that I’m struggling with? Well, I’m afraid that if I leave my job, I will regret it and it will be a terrible decision.
And so you’re sore again. I see that there’s more than one situation. So this one came up about work, but there’s more than one situation that causes this functional symptom to get triggered. So if you were afraid to buy a new car because you’re afraid it would be a terrible decision, your back or your lower back would be sore again.
Does that make sense? It’s triggered by multiple things. But fundamentally, it’s the same process. And the intuitive message I have for you, now that you understand how functional symptoms work, and that there is a root cause that is subconscious, and that you can go get it by asking your intuition,
every time that you get that soreness, your functional symptom is saying, Hey, you’re afraid, and you can ask yourself, What am I afraid of? And you can resolve the fear.
And that’s something that your logical mind can do. Your logical mind can figure out how to resolve that fear. How to reassure yourself.
How to talk it out with a therapist. How to find proof that you make good decisions. And that I don’t feel that you actually made a terrible decision. I think you were afraid to made a terrible decision. And, and here I am interpreting your energy, right? So it’s, it’s an interpretation, but I feel that you did not actually screw up big time, but you were just afraid of screwing up big time.
Alright, that’s all I’m getting for you today. I hope this was helpful. And you know, I publish these messages on my intuitive community for logical women at leftbrainintuition.com. I’d love to see you there.
Talk to you soon.
