[84] Intuitive Message: Do You Have Cramps In Your Right Hand?
Introduction to Intuition
Hi, my name is Elise Lebeau, I’m the Left Brain Intuitive, and your intuition is calling. Let’s see what it has to say.
Intuitive Message for Cramps In Right Hand Pain
So today I have an intuitive message for a woman who is having a problem in her right hand. It cramps up. It’s interesting too because although this looks like a carpal tunnel kind of thing, overuse, it has a trauma energy component to it. I bet that when you went to see your doctor or you’re consulting about this particular cramping, they’re a little puzzled because it looks like carpal tunnel, but it’s not exactly in the right place.
And it doesn’t respond exactly in the same way that that particular physical problem normally would. It feels very similar though, and it’s definitely from overuse. But it’s not overuse of your hand that’s causing this particular problem.
Do You Have a Functional Symptoms?
And the reason I have an intuitive insight for you today is because some symptoms have a function. They are functional symptoms that are trying to communicate something that is known in your body, but not in your conscious mind. And that’s usually not stored in language either, and so that’s why these symptoms express something, translate something.
Information, specifically. So while you are pursuing all the physical therapy and seeing doctors, I don’t know if you’re looking into surgery, but before you do that, if you are contemplating it, it would be really interesting to see what about this intuitive insight. Does it alleviate that pain in a surprising way?
Energetic Components of Pain
So let’s see what’s behind this. It’s interesting because the pain looks like it would fit somebody who writes a lot with a pencil. You know, so the motion, the touching the index and the thumb finger, this is what seems to aggravate the problem, creating that cramping in your right hand. But you work on a computer, so I don’t see you doing a lot of writing.
And so this is confusing logically. Intuition is really good in these situations because sometimes it can give us a different kind of insight, different information. In this case, there is an overuse of suppressing something that is calling to you. So I see you kind of hit the snooze button on an old-time alarm clock or on your phone, you hit the snooze button with that right hand.
Work Mode and Creative Energy Conflict
So while you’re working at your computer in a digital world, and I feel like you’re good at what you do. You’re good at your job. There’s something that calls to you that does not live in the digital world. It’s a physical thing. And I think that’s why I see this pen and this paper, it definitely has a tactile component, and this is important because when you’re on the computer, you’re in work mode, it gets activated automatically.
So when you’re on the computer outside of your work, it’s still activating this energy, work mode. So having fun on your computer is a little bit of a contradiction. Because, let’s say that you were trying to do something creative on your computer with Adobe Photoshop or writing a novel on your computer.
This is meant to be fun and creative, however, it’s activating the part of your brain which has to do with work and obligation. And those are not compatible. That’s not compatible with that creative energy that you have within you which is calling to you. And so you keep hitting that snooze button.
Energetic Symptoms
And this is why your hand is cramping. For sure, there’s a motion that you’re doing that’s creating the physical part of it. For sure. But the body can choose to smooth out things, repetitive motion, and not make a big deal out of it. And in this case, your body is riding the wave. And it’s making a big deal out of it. A big deal. So maybe it is true that if you were to stretch before you type at your computer, it would be better or using your mouse, for example, if you switched how you’re doing that, it would be better, but your body is riding the symptom that’s already kind of there.
And it’s riding it hard to try to scream at you. The call came up, the alarm came up, you hit the snooze button, and now your body is talking to you a little louder through this pain to get this message across.
The intuitive insight here is that although there is a physical component, there is also an energetic component to this pain. And if you answer the call, if you fulfill that need, if you listen to that message, your internal message, it’ll feel better. The symptom will feel better.
Connecting Physical Pain and Important Decisions
And this is something that’s really interesting because sometimes things get better and we’re not sure why. Because we don’t connect it to the fact that we made a decision three days ago to, I don’t know, stop having a conversation with somebody who’s toxic in our life. And we don’t associate the lessening of physical pain with a decision that was made about a different topic than the area that’s painful. These two things seem unrelated, but your intuition knows that they’re related when something like that happens.
Your Creative Expression
So, in this case, you have a pain in your right hand. And today you’re receiving more information about that, that it has to do with a call for your creative energy to be expressed instead of suppressed. And specifically to be expressed in a way that has a tactile, physical component. So whether you start to write a novel on an actual sheet of paper, which I don’t think you ever do that.
So it would be, it would seem inefficient. It would look weird, but there’s an essential component there because when you do that, it’s not associated with your work energy, your work mode. And so right away, it will be more fun and more creative. Like significantly, like I’d say 60 percent of your experience will be improved just because you’re writing on a piece of paper.
From Intuition to Scrabble
There’s also other things that you do digitally, you know, how you can play Scrabble on your iPad, or you can play with an old-style board game and the tiles. So the tactile component, again, of the actual board is important for you.
And I’m not sure if it’s the board itself, or if it’s the fact that if you’re playing on a board, this person is there in front of you. So the interaction is live in person. And I think you’ve stopped doing that for a while because it was overwhelming, it was uncomfortable, or you were overwhelmed and adding interaction on top of that was just more and it was just logistically simpler to not do that.
But something went away when you let go of the physicality of your interaction. There’s a few relationships that do benefit from a physical, let’s go get coffee from a physical, let’s play Scrabble in person, instead of doing it on our iPads, why don’t you come over that has been lost.
And something was important in that. Very important for you. And it was lost. So, these two things are tied to the energy that’s making the cramp in your hand. I would be really curious if you would start writing down two things. When the pain comes up and you feel it, and if it gets better if you spend a few minutes doing something tactile, physical, such as writing in a journal.
Your Tactile Experience
There’s something weird that I do when I do my meditation. For example, I have a meditation stone, a mandala stone, and the painting on the stone has little raised bubbles on it. They’re just dots of paint, but you can feel the indentation that they make. And while I’m meditating, I will touch that with my fingertips. I can feel that on the surface of the stone.
So there’s a tactile experience and this really helps me stay focused in my meditation. I have no attention span. I’m like a squirrel on cocaine and it’s really hard for me to meditate. And so this tactile experience though has really helped me stay focused and I can stay in that empty state of meditation a little bit longer than if I just try to focus on my breath, or imagine something, because all that stuff is in my head, and this is the place where I have no patience.
However, from a tactile perspective, it’s different. It’s a different kind of stimulation to slow down the flow of my thoughts. And while I’m thinking about the dots on my meditation stone, I’m not thinking about other stuff and that’s why that helps me.
Exploring Tactile Activities
So I wonder if there’s some kind of component like that, a tactile aspect touching something is really meaningful to you and it alters the work mode, which is your default mode which would make your day much more comfortable because every time you would touch something. Oh, now I’m seeing a sort of little you know, those little Japanese tiny Zen gardens that have sand in them?
So it’s not the Zen garden that’s important, it’s the sand, touching sand with your fingers. Also seems really to resonate with your energy. So just a lot of little things that might be giving you a lot of opportunity to answer the call which is to interrupt your work mode.
The fact that your work mode is your default mode is okay, but right now, because you’re on the computer, both when you are creative and, and I’m guessing if you try to write on a computer, it’s not been easy,
There’s nothing wrong with you. It’s just the way you’re doing it. It’s just because it’s on the computer.
Connection from Intuition to Pain Relief
If you switch to paper, this will feel easier right away. And let’s see if you would write down the things that you’re doing every day to have a tactile component and if it’s feeling better, a relief in the cramping. I would love to see if your logical mind is able to correlate these two things and notice the connection as well.
Now that it’s been made conscious, it can.
All right, that’s all I’m getting for you today. I hope this was helpful and I’ll talk to you soon.
