[82] Intuitive Message: Suffering from Heartburn?
Is This Intuitive Message For You?
Hi, my name is Elise Lebeau. I’m the Left Brain Intuitive, and your intuition is calling! Let’s see what it has to say. Today, I’m sharing an intuitive message I received anonymously for a woman who is suffering from heartburn. I’m not sure if it’s diagnosed, but it’s a burning sensation around the heart area, and sometimes it feels like a pinching in that area.
It happens a lot, and from what I can see, you’ve been stuck with this recurring symptom for a while. It seems random, and the medication doesn’t really help. So, I’m guessing your doctor said they can’t help, or maybe you haven’t gone to a doctor.
The first thing is always to check with your doctor, because sometimes there’s an easy solution. For instance, if you take antibiotics when you have an infection, it’s going to help. In this case, though, the usual solutions aren’t working. So, let’s see what your intuition has to say about it.
Did you know that you can get your own intuitive message on this podcast? Just go to leftbrainintuitive.com/ask and tell me what you’re struggling with, where you’re stuck. It’s anonymous; you don’t have to give me your name or anything like that. Then you can listen to the podcast to see if your situation has been selected for a reading.
Is Your Heartburn a Functional Symptom?
This heartburn situation is problematic. It’s been going on for a while, and it’s an accumulation. So, this has some legs underneath it—it has some momentum. It’s been rolling for a while, and it’s not going to stop suddenly.
Even when you reach a moment of clarity and understand the problem, it will take time to unwind this spool. It’s wound up pretty tight. The issue here that’s triggering this symptom is a functional symptom, meaning that your body is trying to express something to you. It’s using a physical symptom to get your attention, and the harder it is to get our attention, the more drastic the symptom usually becomes.
In this case, heartburn is not life-threatening, so I believe your body feels it can get your attention this way. However, there’s a miscommunication—you’re not understanding what it’s trying to say. The issue here is focused around your heart because what started this was a broken heart.
Intuition and Emotions
Since that triggering event, which happened many years ago, you’ve been suppressing things that could, in your mind, subconsciously lead to another broken heart. You don’t want to be disappointed by people anymore. You don’t want to be bothered by feelings that don’t make sense or could betray you. As a result, you suppress a lot of things.
Emotions are one of the primary channels through which intuition communicates with us, as intuition is not verbal. It often uses emotions, physical sensations, and images to communicate. By suppressing these emotions, you’re also suppressing your intuition, which turns into a vicious cycle. The thing that will help you get out of this feeling is not your logical mind or medication.
Your intuition is what’s going to help, because it has access to more information. This is really what I teach all day, every day—that intuition is just information. It’s information that you cannot access through your consciousness alone; you need to go somewhere else to access that information. But because you’ve been suppressing emotions, you’ve accidentally suppressed your intuition as well by turning off the “faucet.”
Finding The Root Cause with Intuition
I don’t believe in fixing symptoms left and right. I believe there is a reason why this symptom is there and why it’s stuck, and that’s why I call it a functional symptom. The critical piece of information that will help resolve it is understanding why—the root cause.
The root cause is not the superficial explanation. It’s not just that you have heartburn because of acidity. Yes, you already know that. But I’m talking about the deeper reason. Way deep down in your subconscious—where intuition lives.
This feels like it’s been there for more than a year, and likely several years. There was an event that really shook your trust, both in other people and in yourself. This was like a nuclear event, damaging your relationship with yourself as well as your trust in others. Maybe you trusted someone who did something that was incredibly painful for you. The real damage was that you began to lose trust in yourself, and you probably thought something like, “I shouldn’t trust when I like somebody” or “My feelings led me astray.”
You might have seen warning signs in hindsight, but you ignored them because you followed your heart. However, following your heart is not the same as following intuition. There are many reasons we do things in life that may not align with intuitive guidance, sometimes based on old patterns.
Solving the Problem with Intuition
This is the new information—the root cause. And with new information, we can finally solve the right problem. Now, instead of trying to solve a heartburn problem, we’re trying to solve a broken trust problem. Once you resolve that, your physical body will likely follow and be able to heal the heartburn.
If there’s another reason behind the heartburn, you might experience a domino effect. You might feel some relief as you address the first issue, but if it’s not completely gone, it could indicate another issue behind it.
Flushing The Buffer Technique
Because this “faucet” is closed, you have a huge backlog of unprocessed feelings that have accumulated. They may no longer even be relevant. Here’s what I’d suggest to start releasing some of this pressure.
The next time you feel heartburn, find a private space, even if it’s a locked bathroom, so you won’t be interrupted. Then, write down what you’re feeling in three areas:
- Physical Sensations: Start by listing what you feel physically, like “I have heartburn,” or “my neck and shoulders feel tense.”
- Emotional Sensations: Describe what you feel emotionally, like “I’m frustrated” or “I’m sad because I feel stuck.”
- Imagery from Intuition: Close your eyes and ask, “What do I most need to hear about this heartburn?” If you receive an image, write it down. Don’t try to interpret it, just record what you see.
If nothing comes up, that’s okay too. Once you’re done, notice if you feel some sense of relief, even if it’s just a little. If you do, it means you’ve released some pressure from that “tank.”
Trusting Intuition’s Message and Moving Forward
For example, if you see two birds on a tree chirping, just write down the description without reading into it. Once you’re finished, destroy the paper if you prefer, since much of what you’re processing may be years old and is not something you’ll need again.
This suggestion may seem unusual or unrelated to heartburn, but let’s see if you feel relief.
If this spoke to you today—either because it was meant for you or because you heard something that resonates with your own life experiences, even if you don’t have heartburn—then I’m delighted. An intuitive message meant for one person can apply to many if it resonates with you. That’s your signal that it’s speaking to you as well.
Alright, that’s all I’m getting for you today. I’ll talk to you soon!
