[78] My 2 Best Tips To Get Better Intuition When You Need It The Most
Your Intuition Calling: How to Get Clear Intuition When You Need It Most
Hi, my name is Elise Lebeau. I’m the Left Brain Intuitive, and welcome to “Your Intuition Is Calling.” Let’s see what it has to say.
Struggling to Access Clear Intuition?
Today, the problem we’re trying to solve is how to get clear intuition when you need it the most. Maybe you get it randomly but it’s hard for you to get it on demand.
I’m going to give you two tips today on how to fix this problem.
Tip 1: Always Ask a Question
The first magical tip about getting more consistent intuition is to always ask a question. For most of us, we discover intuition because it pops into our heads, right? We suddenly know something, whether it’s deciding whether to go out to dinner or knowing what to say to a friend who is struggling. This is how we first experience intuition, whether it’s about ourselves or others.
However, did you know that you can trigger your intuition on demand? You can make that happen. I discovered this accidentally because I am a professional intuitive. I’ve been giving intuitive readings for 20 years. Early on in my career, it was very frustrating because I could give readings to other people very easily, but I couldn’t give a reading to myself. At the time, I used to say that intuition is like surgery; it’s easy to do on someone else but hard to do on yourself if you’re a surgeon.
So, this was my situation. It was really hard to do it on myself. I noticed that when I did a reading for someone else, they always asked me a question, which would immediately trigger my intuition. They would ask, and immediately the words would come tumbling out, providing a good, soul-deep intuitive insight. I wanted that for myself.
So, I started experimenting. The first thing I changed was that I began with a question and then wrote down the intuitive answer. This is a crucial tip: don’t wait for intuition to come into your head because you won’t develop a relationship of trust with your intuition. It’s like a friend who shows up sporadically; it’s hard to count on them when you need them. So, always ask a question. It’s a really important tip.
Tip 2: Write Down Your Intuitive Insights
My second tip to get magical intuition into your life is to write it down. I encourage you to have a specific journal or file dedicated solely to your intuitive insights.
Why Writing Down Intuition Matters
There are three reasons for this. The first reason is that intuition is fundamentally subconscious. It’s the stuff you don’t know you know, the stuff stored in your subconscious. Intuition can come from different places:
- The Hard Drive. The information is stored in your physical body.
- The Wi-Fi. When you’re reading someone else, like in an intuitive reading, you use your connection to them to read their hard drive and provide intuitive insights.
- The Cloud. All the information stored in the world around us; if someone has ever had a good idea, it’s out there in the cloud, like a massive Google.
This information is not conscious because it would overwhelm you. Nature, in its infinite wisdom, pushes intuition into your subconscious so you can function in daily life. When you need it, you dig down into the basement, as I call it, to retrieve relevant information when you feel stuck.
Whether it’s from the hard drive, Wi-Fi, or the cloud, it’s subconscious information. If you don’t write it down, it will go back into your subconscious, and you will forget it. Have you ever had a great idea or dream that you couldn’t remember in the morning? That’s exactly how intuition works.
Enhancing Actionability and Tracking Progress
The second reason to write it down is that you’re more likely to take action based on the intuitive insight. Otherwise, it’s just an interesting idea, like a shooting star that quickly fades from your consciousness. You don’t force yourself to take action, but you’re more likely to if you write it down.
The last reason is to see how far you’ve come. I have clients who’ve been getting readings from me for 10 or 20 years. They get a reading, move forward, and are excited. But when I ask about their progress the next time, they often don’t realize how much they’ve accomplished because they’re focused on the next problem. This lack of recognition can devalue intuition. Recognizing your progress teaches your logical mind to value and appreciate intuition.
Building Trust with Your Intuition
Ultimately, you’re building trust with your intuition when you write things down. These are my two favorite tips for getting clear and consistent intuitive insights: ask a question and write it down in a special journal dedicated to your intuition.
All right, that’s all I’m getting for you today. I hope this was helpful, and I’ll talk to you soon..
